Profile & Clinical Expertise
Cedric graduated in 1991 with MBBS (Hons) from St. Bartholomew’s hospital medical college having first studied for a BSc. in chemistry at Royal Holloway College and a MSc. in molecular biology & biotechnology at University College, London. Specialist dermatology training was undertaken at Oxford, Stoke Mandeville, Amersham and Great Ormond Street Hospitals. He completed his specialist training (CCST dermatology) in 1999 and was appointed consultant dermatologist at Hinchingbrooke NHS Hospital Huntingdon, in November 2000. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) London in 2004.
In 2007 Cedric was appointed consultant dermatologist for Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals NHS Trust. He is a Senior Clinical Tutor Dermatology University of Cambridge School of Clinical Medicine.
His clinical interests include: skin cancer, dermoscopy, mole screening, eczema, psoriasis, acne, allergic skin diseases and patients with hair and nail disorders. He is co-author of the handbook of diseases of the hair and scalp published by Blackwell Science Ltd. Cedric is a member of the British Association of Dermatologists and the EADV.
